I guess the anti-hunting movement really started about thirty yean ago. It was going to be easy for them to accomplish their goal, just outlaw guns. This didn't get very far because guns are used for many other purposes and because of opposition from a very strong National Rifle Association.

The antis then put into effect their next plan. Take away the land. By doing so, you will have no place to hunt This was very successful during the Jimmy Carter era by making huge park and wilderness areas. The antis promoted this by saying that you can hunt in wilderness but they failed to tell you these was no motorized access allowed. This eliminated 99% of hunters and put heavy restrictions on the other 1%. The wilderness and parks schemes were very good but not totally successful in eliminating all hunting.

They now have the ultimate effective weapon in place. What, you ask? Let's get down to basics. What is hunting? Hunting is merely the harvesting of surplus game birds and animals. What if there were no surplus? Would we need hunters? Absolutory not! So, if the antis can accomplish this, the) will have succeeded in eliminating hunting. Indeed, they are accomplishing this by using the ultimate weapon, "predators". Unlike hunters, predators hunt year round, daytime and nighttime, no season, no license, no quotas, boundaries, rules, regulations, or limits. Predators must kill to survive, and their numbers have never been so high.

The question to ask is why doesn't Nevada Department of Wildlife or the Wildlife Commission do something about this game depletion? The answer is quite simple. They don't have the guts to take on the antis, and why should they because there are a lot of antis right on the Wildlife Commission and in Nevada Department of Wildlife.
