CLASS ACT IN LAS VEGAS: Tommy and Judy Ford bidding on the IGT Poker machine—against each other! Unbeknownst to Judy, Tommy was in the rear of the room bidding against his wife. Final bid—a whopping $1800.00. This was indeed a class act. And a good time was had by all!

CLASS ACT IN ELKO: Don Wellington of Elko won the door prize, a beautiful coffee table with a quail scene. Showing lots of class, Don donated it back to HUNTER'S ALERT and it brought $600 as an auction item!

DID YOU KNOW: Willie Molini spent 26 days out of state (at sportsmen's expense) in 1993. Is it any wonder Nevada hunting issues are neglected?

Reprinted from THE NEVADA APPEAL, Carson City, Nevada, April 14,1989:

WILDLIFE BOSS COMES UNDER ATTACK

Sex discrimination, fraud charges surface

Department of Wildlife chief Willie Molini was grilled by lawmakers today about allegations of sex discrimination. And a long-time critic renewed claims of embezzlement and fraudulent hunting tag drawings....

"But the AG (attorney general) agreed with the embezzlement charges. He said the only reason he wouldn't prosecute the case was because the department's records were so screwed up they couldn't build a case. But this mismanagement has got to be straightened out."

Ed. note: The mismanagement is still there and the department is still "screwed up".
