The National Shooting Sports Foundation has published a booklet with the above title. The booklet has position statements regarding hunting from major conservation and preservation organizations.

The Defenders of Wildlife policy says that Defenders' traditional special campaigns include restoration and protection of the mammalian predators.. .the wolf, the mountain lion, the coyote, and others. It has opposed hunting mountain lions (with dogs, in California's fragmented habitats) — and proposed reductions in bag limits to leave more prey for wild predators (e.g., to leave more deer for Florida Panthers in the Big Cypress Preserve).

This is exactly what NDOW and the Wildlife Commissioners have been doing for years. Protect predators at the expense of our game populations!
