AGENDA ITEM #4--Review an allegation against the administrator before a motion is made on this action item, 1 would like to give a brief overview of the current administrator, Terry Crawforth. Terry has been the administrator for a year and a half. Let's review his non-accomplishments during that time.

Shortly after Terry's appointment, he met with individual sportsmen and various sportsmen's organizations. They had many questions and wanted answers from the new administrator. He failed to reply to HUNTER'S ALERT, Nevada Hunters Association, The Fraternity of Desert Bighorn Sheep and Virginia Frehner of FNAWS.

Point #1. Terry failed to listen to sportsmen or sportsmen's organizations.

This advisory board has asked the administrator many, many times about improvements in the Overton area and predator control. Terry failed to reply or act on either of them.

Point #2. Terry doesn't listen to the advisory boards.

At the September Wildlife Commission meeting, the Wildlife commissioners set policy regarding the sheep indoctrination. Two months later, the administrator violated this policy.

Point#3. Terry failed to listen to the Wildlife commissioners who set policy for him.

If you total these three items up, this is what administrator Crawforth has done.

#1. He did not listen to the sportsmen.

#2. He did not listen to sportsmen's organizations.

#3. He did not listen to the advisory boards.

#4. He did not listen to the Wildlife Commission.

Ask yourself, what would happen to administrator Crawforth if he had done his job like this in the private sector? We all know the answer to that. I would ask this board to request from the Wildlife Commission a motion on a vote of "no confidence" on administrator Terry Crawforth. We all know that with this current Wildlife Commission this is not going to happen. There are still too many of former governor Bob Miller's appointments on the current commission. But at least by putting it in writing and asking for this, it will show that the Clark County Board is on the right track and you are not pleased with the direction of NDOW and want a change.

Are we going to continue to sit here once a month and beat our brains out trying to get something accomplished with no results? I would hope not. But until we get a new administrator who will listen and has some new ideas and goals, we are going to remain stagnant. Is that the course you want to continue? I don't think so. You have fought too hard for sportsmen.

Administrator Crawforth has done nothing in his first year and a half except make his pension check bigger. Right now he is maneuvering to get his hand picked assistant in position when he retires. Sportsmen don't need any more of this non-leadership. It is long overdue for a change. I realize this board does not have the power to make this change. But this board can at least plant the seed that when sportsmen speak we don't need any more deaf ears. Please consider asking the Wildlife Commission to do a vote of "no confidence" on administrator Terry Crawforth. Once again, they are not going to do it but as Ed Bernstein says, "Let's take the first step".

Note: The Clark County Advisory Board made a recommendation to the Wildlife Commission to give Terry Crawforth a stern lecture about violating policy.
