I am deeply grateful to be appointed to the Wildlife Commission. I want to thank Governor Kenny Guinn for having the confidence in me to select me for this very important position. I feel very fortunate to represent the sportsmen and sportswomen of Nevada.

I have lived in Nevada for fifty years, five years in Washoe County and the past forty five years in Clark County. I am very aware of the good, the bad and the ugly of wildlife issues in our state. I will do my best to see that sportsmen s agendas are well represented.

My first committee assignment is the Bighorn Sheep Management Planning Team. This team will be responsible for addressing all management and concerns regarding why, how, when and where we harvest bighorn sheep in Nevada. I am very excited about being able to help with this issue.

For years I have donated money to wildlife and wildlife conservation organizations. Now I can donate time. I have watched the different groups working on projects and I have learned that donating money was the easy part. Again, I wish to pledge that I will do what is best for the natural resource and all sportsmen and women of Nevada.
